All things Tig Notaro

There was lot of Tig this weekend. The highlight was a live show with Leah, Seppi and Fifi at Chautauqua auditorium in Boulder. We laughed our butts off, although the start of the show was much stronger than the finish. I suppose it was our choice to sit through the extra 30-40 minutes of keyboard mashing.

I’ve been a fan since Tig’s groundbreaking 2012 stand-up show, which is covered in episode 476 of This American Life. She’s now moving on from two great podcasts, Don’t Ask Tig and Tig and Cheryl: True Story, and starting a new one: Handsome with Tig, May Martin and Fortune Feimster. Handsome is frivolous, good for times when you can’t handle any mental load.

(Side note: I couldn’t care less about celebrity gossip, but Cheryl Hines’ marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and apparent support for his presidential run are actually breaking my brain.)
