Colorado #7: Sleepcation

I saved the “For Barb ONLY” sign; I anticipate many future uses. Chocolate-chip peanut butter cookies were a truly awesome welcome treat from Fifi. ❤️ For some reason I mainly photographed food on this trip. I swear I did more than eat… I also slept! JK, we achieved a respectable amount of activity: Cherry Creek Arts Festival, July 4 fireworks (the lazy version where you walk to the best vantage point without driving anywhere); requisite trip to Sweet Cow ice cream, my first conveyor-belt dining experience at Sushi-Rama, Mexican lunch with Marko at Mojo, long walks in the neighborhood… But I skipped my usual morning runs, I did take a lot of naps and I did need the sleep. I just learned that when you do this on purpose it’s called a Sleepcation. This sounds like a wonderful concept and I am already on board.
