Danger Thanksgiving

(★★★★★) This trip had it all. It had axes! It had fire!  Plus normal stuff: Friendsgiving with Wisconsin expats and Seppi’s veggie wellington masterpiece…  Friday afternoon lunch and shopping at Edgewater Public Market before the axe hurling… Quick Saturday outing to Louisville where I impulse-purchased earrings from a local artist… Treasured walks around the neighborhood with Leah… A couple of good sleeps… More delicious home-cooked meals, and Fifi’s special “For Barb Only” cookies. I unplugged from work and got most of my Christmas shopping done.  Very restorative and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving weekend.  Miss everyone already.
