Gracie was my best buddy and co-pilot for 14 years. I said goodbye to her four years ago today, and it broke my heart. She was always the most bummed when I was packing for a trip, and the most over-the-moon excited when her carrier came out. She’d jump inside, ready for anything. I often dream she’s still around. If life was fair, she would be.
